Documentation comments generate external documentation of your source code. I can't get what that means..

How is this going to be helpful to me? Should I learn what it means? Can someone explain? I'm a beginner at programming and English is not my mother language..

I think it refers to Commenting your code. it helps you understand the code later

I think that's just comments, not documentation comments..
