Is it better to do challenges and practice or keep learning a few languages and then do that?

I'm not sure if I would do well to practice some of the java challenges before I learn some other languages. I think, if I learn many languages I'll be more familiar with code and more comfortable using it. But, I also think if I stick with a language I might master it better. I'm not sure which approach would be best and why. Can I get some opinions with clear reasons to back up those opinions? Thank you for your time.

Generally most programming languages are Object Oriented... Hence the concepts are similar, but it is recommended that you learn a few at a time. Learn what suits your needs and practice as you go, feel free to play challenges. At worst you'll lose, but whatever you learn from it sticks. Enjoy the experience!

Practicar te ayudara a afinar tu manera de programar. es bueno aprender otros lenguajes, dependiendo del campo que mas te guste. Pero la prĂĄctica es muy importante, eso reforzara mas tu conocimiento.

Thank you Aina and Zincri. I'm not sure who downvoted Zincri, but his answer makes sense. I had to use Google translate: "Practicing will help you fine-tune your programming. It is good to learn other languages, depending on the field you like most. But the practice is very important, that will strengthen your knowledge."
