Android developer needs how much of java

I am a Android developer fresher I don't know the basics of java but I am writing the codes also ... is it okay or I need to learn java surely...

really android dev requires good
understanding of overriding and interface
but not that deep

else android concepts also
need to be learnt

You can deal with basic knowledge to produce little apps, but for advanced programming, you need advanced skills ^^
