SWING alternativne?

I've read that Swing is severely outdated. I'm a noob and I'm fresh to all this. What are some good alternatives to swing? Thanks!

there are numerous classes of swing whih are deprecated.. not whole swing..
and we can fuse both javafx and swing..
and tge swing has more addition known as SwingX

JavaFX would be the best choice then.
