what does high level language mean ?

Well, a high level language require very little syntax and does not depend much on syntax, when compared to a low level language. The commands that are used are fairly simple.

it's a programming language that is very near to human language. for example python is easier to write codes & doesn't require much syntaxes and background knowledge regarding machine(computer) and it's internal execution mechanisms
