it can be used elsewhere. a few manuals for games I have (on DVD) are html based.

two so far, nothing great. Tetris - SDL2 Snake - Console Working on a third at the moment, RPG/Roguelike using SDL2.

I can go grab the codes they are on the pc. none will run here though. You will need a compiler for c++ and probably need to grab sdl2 dev files from https://www.libsdl.org/download-2.0.php to get tetris to run

yep. They work great. not sure if it was just a cost saving exercise by the developers or not but I don't mind

You can use HTML for offline content as well. As you recall from learning HTML, it's really nothing more than a bunch of documents and stuff that you're sharing with people online. Question for you though; what are you trying to make? If you have something specific in mind, we can answer that for you.
