Get good with one programming language at first. It doesn't matter if it is python, c++, java, javascript, etc. I'm saying this because at first you'll learn programmimg with one language. And when you know how to program with one language, learning to program with another will be a A LOT easier.
So pick any programming language and learn it

C++ is used in triple A Games and dome indie developers use it as well
for majority of indie game developers code in C# or java
Unreal Engine 4 uses C++
Unity 5 uses java and C#
look them up.
(i dont like handing out links unless i need to for a sepcific reason, but as a programer need to get used to googling for your own information.)
