Who is Satoshi Nakamoto

It is a very mysterious thing that the person or group identified as Satoshi Nakamoto (inventor of bitcoin) cannot be identified till date. How possible is it to release a game changing technology without being identified. Isn't bitcoin smelling mysteriously fishy? What is your take on this?

An engineer with same name denies being the man behind bitcoin. An Australian named Craig Wright claims he is the one without any justifiable proof. We expect the real Satoshi Nakamoto to provide the same private key used in signing the first bitcoin transaction that bears the name Satoshi Nakamoto

oooo good explanation, so con then. I doubt it is the authors true name at anyrate. I believe there is nothing to gain in identifying oneself as the author of this software. The whole point was anonymity was it not?
