why include colspan="2"?

When you have to merge 2 colum for one word we use colspan. "2" means it will merge 2 colum.. if you do 3 it will merge three colum.
In order to see the results in HTML first create a table atleast with 3 row and three colum.

Haha I eventually figured it, but thanks for replying!.. On another note, upon further research I learned just recently that coding is useful, but not crucial to designing a website. Maybe I should just start with learning WordPress?
