Game developpment Python, C++
I'm a student who learned HTML, CSS and a bit of php in school. Because I'm a gamer and like writing code, I wanted to develop games. I picked Python as a programming language because it's pretty easy to get into and started this course. After researching I found out, that C++ would do this job better. Now my question: -Should I just finish my Python course and then start learning C++ or should I keep Python? I heard, C++ isn't that hard to learn, what do you guys recommend? Thanks in advance :)

I started with python and have coding 2d games with pygame, but because of the slowness of python, I couldn't implement all i was wanted, so I've start learning Cpp. I think it's a good path to take, even knowing now that python isn't ideal for making games (but pretty good for small games)...

Thank you very much for your fast replies. Alright, so I'll finish my Python course and then start with C++. Wish me good luck on my way. Have a nice day.
Anyways, what game engine do you recommend if you create a 2d game with C++?
