There always be other languages because they are all strong in a certain field so one language is not an option.

I think the answer to this question should begin from this question...:
Q.
What is the most popular programming language now (in the present)?
A.
Very difficult to pick. To me, there are about 5 of them that could be considered as peers in popularity:
Java
JavaScript
Python
PHP
C++
//
If we know the languages that are popular in the present, and we look at the trend in the world of programming, I believe we can give some predictions about the programming languages that would be in popular-use in the future...
I do not agree that it can ever be just only one...

Serena do you mind explaining it to Tory?

@Mubashir, I think your missing the point. There have always been more than one language and there always be multiple languages simply because you cannot haul furniture with a sports car neither so software has the same limitations.

I just found out that the stupid spelling correction causes all my so called typos. I checked my last posting before I posted it was ok. After I pressed the button it changed Bot into Not...

Keep on dreaming guys, C and all the excerpt s will always be there because they are the closest to Assembler to only way to code directly at processor level. You know all the rest is translated into assembler anyway so the processor knows what to do with it. Actually a computer is a dumb unit that needs make y translator's for all the different languages people create just to make easier for people to write a program.
How do you think it comes that there are just a small amount of people that are able to program with Assembler? Not because it is easy but because it is very hard.

We live in the present, so we cannot know the answer to the future.
That being said, it's likely each language we know now will eventually become obsolete in my personal opinion. I'd say binary will be around the longest. heh

Kotlin is going to be a great programming language in future. Otherwise c# is overall very good pl.

maybe C# or Java /w/

it can't be just a single language, every language has its own use and potential, we can't converge at one, recent statistics shows that the masses are going for python, c#, java cup .

I think: python , java , cs , js , C++ , but the most java!!

@Fuyuka: Yes you're right, lets eat some sushi. But I didn't scare off Tori. She asked to delete the actual unrelated posting from our conversation at a this thread so it would stay clean. We where actually started chating here and not on the chating post. She asked for it, so I agreed to do this and so did she. After that I went to sleep. I just got up it is still early hear at my place๐๐๐๐๐๐ช๐ชโโโโ๐ต๐ต๐ต๐ณ๐ณ๐ณ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ท๐ธ๐น๐๐บ๐ป๐ผ๐พ๐น๐น๐ผ๐ผ๐ท๐ป๐บ๐บ

@Tory: I just left the last posting before I went to bed last night where I wished you goodnight. I wasn't sure if I had to delete that one too, because I can only see if you read it after you like it. So I will delete those threads too once you like them so I know you read them. That's my logic though, otherwise there is no need for postings if you delete them after a few seconds. โบโบ๐๐๐๐๐๐
Btw, I deleted the goodnight posting too just a few minutes ago...
