it really depends on what kind of app. if it were someoning that enables users to have accounts, then theres more to it. but if its a game then yes you can you can code it fully. But as far as characters im still trying to find out if you use photoshop or not, if so then how do you apply. But yes you can code it fully it is possible. hope i helped in a way :)

yeah, but java for the inner workings and java for user interface is different so be wary.

if your looking to work in Android, the brains of the programs are all java with a few extra classes specific to android. the visual aspects (how it looks) is written in xml. Download android studio and check out the GenyMotion emulator (it is way faster than Android studios built in virtual device)

yes it can be fullycoded in java.but nowadays we have android studio and all.so why mess??
