The Greatest Sololearn Coder: Sololearn Idea

Question

We all know that soon the SoloLearner with the best code will be announced

I've been stuck with an idea that could maybe change Sololearn as it is: Sololearn should add a monthly competition where people can add their codes (almost like this thread) and make an additional "chat" room where people can deliver comments on codes and give upvotes.

The shouldn't​ be any sorting algorithm that puts code with the most votes on top, but instead keep it random for an equal opportunity for all.

What do you think?

I think this is a very good idea. I believe that we should contact Sololearn and present the idea and let them implement the idea not only as a post but a part of the Sololearn experience itself as a section were, as you said, rolls throigh all the posted codes so that we may all experience codes together. This could maybe be implemented to the home page to view to new codes. Even transfer the reply section to go under not only the codes but the thread to keep everything organized.

It sounds good and i think you should contact Sololearn itself to send your feedback, but honestly it is pretty similar to see the "Most Recent" codes in the code section, in that case you see the Most Recent of each user so... equal opportunity for all.

Rather than reinvent the wheel Sololearn could advertise the existing section, just my opinion! ^^

You're on point @Limitless, if only Sololearn could make a code challenge where everyone would compete to make the code that best answers they question, then we would be more of coders that challengers.

Again a limited time should be set to submit codes. Like 3 days or 5 days

Well what if along side the competition people can post to an everyone post that cycles the codes posted and then those codes can be judge by the other post.

Like take the code of the day make it a competition instead for Code of the Month.
