Typing Practice for Programmers

Hello, guys! Today I found two websites where we can practice typing on real codes (C++, Python, Javascript, Ruby, etc) instead of the usual English. https://typing.io/ http://www.speedcoder.net/ Does typing speed really matter for programmers? Here is a few thought: - Average typing speed is good enough. - Slow typing reduce efficiency as time is spent for thinking and typing. - Slow typing indirectly shows how much time is spent actually writing programs, as typing speed is something which naturally improved with practices. What're your thoughts on this?

Typing speed is irrelevant. As long as you don't type with 2 fingers, you will be fine.

Typing speed doesn't matter a whole lot. Programmers often spend more time sitting, thinking, and reading their code than writing it.
