Depends. What is it that you're wanting to do? For example, if you wanted to specialize in web developer, game development, software development, security, etc... - each has their own things that's necessary to learn. Figure out what you want to do. Go to the website of a University that offers it. Look at their catalog and write down all of the courses for that degree. Go onto Google and type in "<name of course> pdf free ebook." Read the books for each of those courses. Earn the knowledge of a degree without having to spend money on a degree. College = pay someone to tell you to read a book. If nothing more, use the websites in order to realize what you need to learn besides the programming language.

Go to google and type in "free oss degree". It is a collection of every single class you would take to graduate in CS. Catch is its 100% free and ALL CLASSES are taught from top universities in the world (Harvard, MIT, etc) Video lessons, books etc.

Honestly, experience is your best friend. What you make doesn't have to be good. I know from experience actually making something is ten times more effective than tests and quizzes. As you make things, it will become obvious what you need to learn in order to make something you want. Google's your friend. ;)

The free oss degree is not a certificate or a degree. Its just a place where programmers put links to free classes for people to learn. Did you even bothered to read?
