Why can't my IDE create a new project?

I had just installed Code::Blocks in my Mac OS X 10.6.8 while following SoloLearn's C++ course, and began creating a new project to start off. Everything was going well in the wizard for Console Applications, until the moment I clicked "Finish" and an error message appeared, indicating "Couldn't create the project directory: /usr/bin/Test/" with no other explanation. I'm curious about what happened, but I also feel inexperienced and in need of help.

Thanks. I' ve finally found the appropiate location in Macintosh HD/codeblocks/. Now I find myself in a new problem. I'll explain it in a separate discussion. For now, thanks.
