Is angular js and react js are used for same purpose?

What are the benefits of using Angular js and react js...how they are useful in a website?

they are both used for Web Development. I haven't used React, but as far as I'm aware, Angular is more verbose than React. React tries to do all the heavy lifting for you, but Angular requires you to setup this elaborate file structure for any sized project
