Alias name issue

Question

Consider i am using a new alias name "alias1" for a physical table name "items" for calling. Hence again using a new alias name "alias2" for previous alias name "alias1", and now finally using an existing physical table name "items" as an alias name. now the record are not getting loaded from table. I wonder it should throw an error but it is not..can anyone help me on this
