Why is there no way to exchange messages with friends?

Title pretty much says it. I'm really missing a function to chat about a challenge solution. Also once you have added some friends from outside of the app, there is no way to communicate directly at all...

Given the limitations of the forum I would assume it has mostly technical reasons. Still something I would expect from a social coding app.

Seriously, dunno. Feature has pros and cons. I think it'll be implemented soon so relax.

We like to take the "pass a note" approach, it gives it that retro-90s feel. You wrote this note, and just tell me who you want to have it, and I'll pass it along and they may get it. ;)
