Can anyone suggest ways to better my HTML and CSS?

Question

I see beautifully written codes on code playground however some of the stuff in them weren't covered in SL or even Codecademy. Does anyone know another site to improve my novice skills?

Practice writing code. With HTMl and CSS you can use notepad and a good browser like Chrome. You can also view and edit HTML and CSS files in Chrome or other desktop browsers using the developer option in tools and observe how a webpage changes its appearance. Just open a webpage and edit its source code through the developer option to get a feel of how HTML and CSS works.
