after doing html what should I go for java or php or c++

what is the correct sequence to learn programming languages

all those languages could be used to develop websites, but php is more popular to do such a work php and other competitors (python, ruby) are most used programming languages to make website and web application. due to recommendations interpret languages are more suitable for web development from compile languages (c++, java)

HTML > CSS > JavaScript > HTML5 > CSS3 > python > php > SQL > Java > C# > C++ > C it really doesn't matter what order you learn them you just have to figure out what platform you want to master for example learning html is good for web. Java is good for Android platform while C is good for PC software. The only reason i give the list is based on Syntax. python has the most easy going Syntex while C, C++ and Other low level language are very syntax sensitive

Java and C++ will be like a base and good to know specially for the object oriented concepts. If the intention is for web development then CSS and JS, PHP are the next best options to learn.
