Maya vs blender. Which is better for animation in android game development

i am confused between maya and blender. can anyone suggest me which is better and why. also i think i'll have to pay for maya while blender is free

I doesn't think that Maya is very helpful in android game development context, as it's firstly specialized on movie making... anyway, it's before all a modeler which can be used to virtualy sculpt object ;)

On the other side, even if Blender has same purpose originally, it has developed a complete framework to handle cross-platform 3d game building... (However, I doesn't really know if Maya has evolved so to provide such equivalent features dedicated to game app build ^^)
