I need some advice regarding finishing a project.

The past few days I've been Programming the whole day on a school project, I've written over 3000 lines (excluding spaces and auto generated code) and still I'm only finished with 2/8 of all my work. I have 2 more days to finish it but by this tempo I'll never make it. Do you have any advice on how I can improve my working conditions and/or effeciency, I'd greatly appreciate any and every comment!

I don't know what kind of code you are writing, but if I were facing a deadline at work, I would try and simplify as best as possible. Don't try and be overly creative or witty except where it is absolutely necessary. I would also try and consider the big picture and not get caught up in making unnecessary tweaks, AKA Scope Creep.

Teamwork is the key, by having teammate(s) you can share ideas, split the burden, think/plan your work together so you don't get overwhelmed. A one men's best can't beat a team's, at the very least there are more eyes to spot flaws in the work. Well, that's just my opinion though.

cant you throw your ideas on paper and work from that?.. that way you can put things in order and see whats going on, giving you a clearer picture..with less mistakes. i think its always good to have some sort of plan or design to work from as things can get messy when when its all on your head. well... im new to coding so i hope my advice helps :)

I really wish that I had a team working with me on this. it's bigger than I imagined. I had my work split in pieces but a few topics took way longer than I had ever hoped and now I'm behind with my plans. My worst fear is giving them something that doesn't work
