Access is such a volatile program, unstable, insecure and a virtual nightmare to support(speaking from experience). Is there a reason you want to use Access over... well anything really?

@Jim I don't mean to be rude but I just don't think you know what you are doing. I work with Access (database has >100,000 lines of code easy with 50+ users reading and writing data to it.) It does have stability issues if working over wireless networks but other than that, no real issues. My opinion would be use it and see if it meets your needs. If not then try something else.

Joe , I will concede that the programs I had crossed were in practice for many years and had many developers dip their hands into it. I have been hesitant to do my own development in it due to the endless hours I had to support debugging and cleaning the applications. it sounds like your experience has been a lot better.
