use all the freetime possible, i generally spend hours a day and i learn quite a lot. its a very long process if you are considering using this for your career, but good luck for whatever you choose to do :)

Learn and build stuff/practice–Implement what you learn. Networking is also key be it online... i.e sololearn or physically look for hackathons or dev meet-ups around your neighbourhood this will keep you updated on tech which evolves by the minute. Good luck I hope this helps you on your journey.

find a partner with which you can work together. that way it will be harder to miss to practice and you support each other and exchange knowledge
