I suck at programming and I don't know how to improve.

I feel like I'm making absolutely no progress in c#, I have failed every challenge, I can't even read the code. How can I practice and regain the knowledge I've lost almost instantly. I need to know, this is really pathetic and disappointing for me, I thought I would learn later on but it doesn't appear that's happening.

It looks like you need some deep understanding of coding to get you started. It's most likely because you are only considering sololearn which might not ve exactly best for the first language learnt. I would suggest "learn java the hard way". Learning programming really deep once, will raise your confidence and also gets your brain completely ready for anything new, so learning basics of others languages will be piece of cake.

Dont rely on solo learn alone. Make something like a calculator or invent something cool. Get creative.

Do another course for example at codecadamy, too. Repeating helps me to remember + you maybe get it explained a little different. Also do small 'programms' directly after you learn a new command, to also keep it in mind. (I guess thats why everyone starts with the 'Hello World' program)

Thanks, but I can't do that if I literally don't know how. I've tried with no avail.
