How did you motivate yourself ?

about programming ? I didn't.. because programming is my hobby, and I like it..
There are two ways to be good :
1. Do what you like, or
2. Like what you do

Motivation ebbs flows. For a while I was just content with programming while I worked. Right now I am motivated by wanting to take my skills to the next level. I'm letting myself have fun creating silly stuff, and looking to others for inspiration.
