Part-time programming?

Question

I'm a medical student in my 1st year of university but I've always wanted to be a hacker or a programmer and not the movie bullshit. An actual programmer and/or hacker. And i want to arn by working as a programmer part-time at the very least until I'm a fully-fledged doctor. Is it realistic? Can it be done? Because i want to know if I've planned something impossible. I live in pakistan if it's of any relevance.

yes...it is possible.you have to give extra time on programming.

Like, i mean. Can i earn as a part time programmer even if I'm a med student? And how? I can manage how to learn I've already learnt basic html and css but how do i earn especially in a place pakistan?
