Need advice about learning to program

Hey guys,

I am student who is passionate about computer science. I still have two years of school left, and I thought that it would be a great idea to put more effort into learning computer science. My incentive is to boost my knowledge and acquire a better portfolio for university admissions and future career.

So, what should be my learning path now? I want to learn something more advanced. I know the basics of all the common programming languages, so maybe I should master one particular language?

I would recommend you to learn languages like python / c++ which are used at university and are both offering a nice overview of programming languages 😊

Another thought: maybe I should learn something else besides programming, like theoretical part of Computer Science?

I would love if you suggested some courses or example projects to do.

I am in the last year of my school time, taken CS. I will recommend you to do what you are passionate about. And as you said you know the basics of programming, you will face no difficulty learning further. Go with what you want and good luck.

Focuses on javascript and everything that compose it: jquery, node js, angular js, react. You will not regret it if you wanted to become a web developer
