Which language is Windows (PC) coded in?
Been looking all over but can't find the answer. I want to learn that language.

Windows is written in C, C++, and C# while some areas are hand written in assembly language
The first versions were written in C++ and the kernel in C

@Dean the language used is DOS Batch language, and the later versions of Windows also have a program called PowerShell which has an extended language. In theory, PowerShell avoids the need to use the DOS batch language.

@Infant Raj and which language is used in the command prompt and batch files? I want to be able to easily navigate and function my pc in the same manner as Linux: keyboard!

@Kay.A108 Mac OS is written in Objective C and the kernel is in C with its PnP subsytems in Embedded C++
