low level languages like C or C++ are considered powerful.

Python is really high, not at all low. It is simple, but not like C is. Python isn't powerful in the running sense, only in the development sense.

well I never meet programmers who go deeper into assembly and machine code so I consider that 2low4me

Every language have their unique power, goods and bads... so power is also refered as how the programmer use the tool(language)... but the most powered is those who get a more close abstraction with the hardware layer, low-level and middle-level. But the power come with the mind of programmer too...

I use assembly and a just a bit of machine code... I currently program for the NES 6502 chip, so assembly is very mandatory...

Most programming languages are capable of writing just about any kind of software. Some languages may make it easier to write certain kinds of software. Does this make some languages more powerful?

C and C++ were known to be powerful but now for l consider python as the most powerful programming language in these days. about the speed of the python running there is a module CYTHON which converts python to C/C++ hence can run at same speed as C++
