increase in user headache/vision problems while using sl. my solutions / what works for me.

there's sadly been a noticeable amount of people who get headaches, vision problems. here's a thread of solutions. 1. take regular breaks. whether it be every 30 minutes if you spend hours, it could greatly help. 2. if you stay up late, the computer shouldn't be the only lighting in the room. adjust your lighting to be equal around your space (turn on lamps, etc) 3. lower your brightness as the day progresses, but keep it bright enough to see properly. this is continued in the comments.

4. please blink often! this is a main concern among people who suggest solutions to these problems, because studies show you blink less working at a computer than those who don't. 5. increase the text size whenever possible so you don't have to squint to see, especially if you need glasses (and don't have them, like me). 6. do not slump your shoulders. this puts less pressure on you and can prevent headaches and further pain. here are some further links to help even more: http://healthland.time.com/2012/09/13/computer-eye-strain-explained-and-how-to-avoid-it/ http://visionsource.com/blog/tips-for-eliminating-computer-eye-strain/ https://www.google.com/amp/amp.timeinc.net/health/health/gallery/0,,20355520,00.html%3fsource=dam
