Is it possible to make another OS for computers ??

Currently there are three main types of OS:

1.Windows by Microsoft .
2.Android by Alphabet.
3.IOS by Apple.
4........??
what about making another ??????

There are hundreds of operating systems. My personal favorite is the Linux based OS known as Ubuntu
