and if you like, you can go to mva.microsoft.com to get a more advanced knowledges of programming and computers (and real certificates when you pass some exams in Microsoft certification)

I don't know if its an app or not, but if you haven't, check out freecodecamp! It's a non-profit that teaches you how to program and puts you to work in making a poetfoilio consisting of charity projects!

There are some good websites like codeacademy or w3school and you can learn from others mistakes on stack overflow too.
