Do you think Java will overhelm PHP in web applications development?

I think Java is really great language but it is, in my opinion, kind of heavy for web application development right now. Surely it depends on application purpose and size, but for web applications like eshops or forums i will prefer PHP.

it's main feature is not for web
in web development (sites) we have enough script langs, I think
