@Immortal I agree about "where there's will there's a way". but doing something in which you are not interested in, sad for most of a long time. things should be considered thoughtfully. of course the choice rests on the respective person. decision making can be based on current life situations, circumstances, etc. @Irvin I or someone else will not say what is best for you (only you can say what is). but I can say ask these questions to your self how will your decision affect you after 10 minutes? " 10 months? " 10 years? whatever is your decision make it thoughtfully and don't compromise on your happiness (one of the most important things in life) :)

talk to him. tell him your dreams. he should understand. He only wants what is best for you by the sound of it.

am the right example.. my father wanted me to do technical and thus i did.. and I was not interested. right now i don't have job in it since electronics Engineering sucks in India, we don't get jobs which may worth the degree...and now am doing different courses of my choice.. i don't know what's the scenario of placement in your place, but if you want to do as per your choice please speak up.. because u won't learn it unless you have interest in it..

I don't know your father but I would tell him I'm not interested in technical engineering and I want to do something else. If he is sad because he doesn't understand then that's his fault

hey Irwin I have gone through Freelancer.in and it is quite simple to use.. if you want to work and earn from it.. then you need to sign up as "to work" and then specify your skills.. Once you are done then you will see projects related to your skills.. go through the project details you like if you can do it.. once you acknowledge the details and the requirements of the project, you have to make a bid on the project along with the the time.. suppose you make bid for 25$ for 30days to make the project.. then within 30days you have to give the result.. BUT before that.. since the project is hosted by some client.. so he will decide to choose the developer.. and he will decide the genuine developer with genuine bid amount.. so here's the twist that it may take time for you to get project because it will totally depend on the client...

not yet I see the project requirements.. they are beyond me.. They are very specific in their requirements.. even they will force you to work on specified language.. like for css if they say that you need not to use any framework neither any preprocessors then you have to obey it.. and some requirements were like using some library Which I am not familiar with.. but it gives us idea about the skills required, by seeing the requirements of the project, in real world.
