IS SOLOLEARN'S PROGRAMMERS DISCRIMINATE ON THE BASIS OF PROGRAMS BY COMPARING BETWEEN SKILL AND GREETINGS??

according to me I spend a lots of time in solo learn so according to my observation I realise that the codes which display the message of greetings like Happy Raksha Bandhan Friendship Day etc get more upvotes than a real program which is made up of a lots of skills and time so I just need to ask you peoples that is it true or not with example I hope you guys help me to find this problem and realise this issue!!!

A post usually captures a person's interest if they can relate to it. If it's an uncommon event they would get more upvotes. example: "Happy Julian month" (July, stupid example) would get more upvotes than "Merry Christmas!" This is the same with this app, you might need to work your way up the ladder to gain respect and appreciation from fellow members on the group, or even something that no one has seen before.

Man, I can quite feel what you mean, even based on my own codes. I am so proud of some of them, but the most popular of them are dumb print tricks :D

another point - many people are attracted to the idea of being included in a post or code, so when posts come around where they can give their input to without the fear of being wrong gives high-level appeal - and that is how most trending posts turn out to be. if you make a code where you can include people based on a part of their identity (i.e.: nationality) there's a guarantee that you will gain a spotlight from some regardless. but if you show something truly unique like @Limitless said, you will get an even more significant spotlight.

Yeah more intelligent codes don't get up votes, but understand most of guys in solo learn are boobs and they get fascinated by the artistic low level codes....with time as they grow in coding they will learn to appreciate high level codes

code to develop your skills if people were really seeing code value maybe the top should have been maybe sorakatadzuma code or the likes of ace even burey, some of his codes should have been more famous than others. he did quite some amazing codes and krishna, his codes (firebase ones) are very very readeable, but some <100 likes so, votes++ != good code codes and don't see others
