In Sololearn you can learn to program by doing the tutorials or with challenges?

In my opinion, the best way to learn programming is to start doing the tutorials. These are the steps i suggest: 1. Complete the course; 2. Always practice by coding every new information; 3. Ask help from the community for everything unclear; 4. Check others' code and try to understand and interprete them; 5. Challenges aren't very useful to learn, they are just "challenging" and "competitive", so i think you get the point.

The tutorial gives you the information, syntax and semantics, but the challenges indisputably just like programming gives you the experience and greater knowledge about what is the programming logic

I learn by making code. Whether it if from a challenge, the course, online, or a book. I like to apply what I learn.

the challenges refresh the theory covered by tutorials plus encourage you to code.

I think, you should try everything, do tutorials, take challeges and moreever you shouuld try implementing real life scenario with coding in code play.

First the tutorial and then the challenges... The quizzes are based on the tutorial.

It's a nice way to start. Obviously the more you code the better it is. Just try to understand what's the best way to complete a task, not only how to complete it. Focus on data structures.

it is a nice app and good point to get started. nevertheless, you will need to practice on your own. playing around with the try it yourself section is also very recommendable.

tutorials are just a start...by challenges you'll start thinking and allows you to register in permanent memory instead of cache
