I start to find my first developer job at the age of 22, I just graduated from college at that time, that was a burning hot summer just like my young heart. I submitted my poor resume to all companies I can found on the jobs search website, which need the skills with Java, Android or Linux, and finally got 12 invitation letter from August to October. Preparing an interview is a tiring work, I reviewed the basic concept of Java, Data Structure and Algorithms everyday, and write the code "by my hand" on the blank paper with some examination, because the test in interview always use the pen to answer instead of a keyboard. I also practiced how to introduce myself, make a proper power point, show my background and portfolio of Android, uploaded some of them to Github and share the links in my profile. Everything seems fine before I starting real interview. I hope I can get an Offer from my favorite company, but reality is always cruel. I didn't strong enough, so I keep practicing and master my skill after each interview, interviewer always let me know what skill or concept I should improve. After a period of time, everything is getting better, and I finally got the first Offer when I went to the eleventh company, that is a mobile phone manufacturer. I am really happy to get an developer job and I really love coding or creating something new. By the way, I found a good developer must keep practicing and learning anytime since I entered workforce, all the top senior developers in my company always do so. That is why I still stay here to learn coding.

:D I'm in high school... But my first program I made was to my own school. I spent 2 weeks of my vacation spending all day every day working, planning and creating a program that would save their butts. A program to keep track of students, she their data, photos and record their activities in a database. 2 weeks of little sleep... As a student I got 95% for that task... but as a developer there's a lot of work left to do
