đŸ’» Differences between coders and programmers? đŸ’»

What are the differences between coders and programmers, and which one could you consider yourself? I could call myself a beginner programmer too. note: I'll be listing the differences from suggestions in a answer.

differences between programmers and coders, from suggestions: Programmers: - who has knowledge about IT. - math background. - solver of problems ones. - creator of problems ones. - who specializes in any programming language as python, java, haskell, etc. Coders: - who writes codes for them. - is synonymous of programmers. - who specializes in any markup language as html, css, etc. others: - no one difference.

I don't think there is any difference. Programmers and coders are also writing code. Maybe there is a little emphasis on the mathematical background when you say programmer, but I really think that in practice it's the same :)

to me the difference is a coder is someone who doesn't know a programming language. like he specialise in html or css or any mark up language. it's someone who can write code buy doesn't have any clue on variable or logical programming. a programmer to me is someone who use a programming language such as python, java, or haskell.

if there is a difference,,then i think coders are ppl that write cose and are all into it. they will write things but this is the end for them. on the other hand programmers will be the ppl that have a huuuge knowledge of all IT stuff that is going on plus they write code. tho i do not yhink that this is it. i think if it will be like that, i would call myself a beginner programmer

A “coder” is basically a synonym for programmer.
