Are you really convinced that there are still some ABSOLUTELY NEW MAJOR things (discoveries...) yet to come through programming?

If yes, what gives you that assurance? Please share with us. You could motivate someone. Have you ever thought of any of such MAJOR things? yes or not yet

Machine learning, artificial intelligence, internet of things are all topics that are being dubbed as the new revolutionary flow after the information age. In Steve Case's book (founder of AOL) The Third Wave, he explains what it was like to be a part of the U.S when it was boarding the internet train. Couple of years later as it gained traction, people were building platforms and businesses on top of the internet. Now he says, the time has come that we and the world around us will be connected to the internet. So much data is going to rise from all of this that I can't see Data science not being a major role in making sense of all of it. More than that, what will we decide to do with all the data? How will we make it easier to understand? That's where machine learning and AI come into place. It's time my friends, to jump on and ride this wave.
