Question

What about making a thread where people will suggest ideas for projects, of different levels and languages, and the others code their own versions and are rated? Such as the challenges, but greater things?

Yes, can be great but if some people have got a very big project and the post will be popular, these people have to be careful to copyright of their project. I don't know if you understand but yes it can be cool

Yes but the problem appear if you get a lot of answer like 80 answers because it's not easy to find the first post.
You can make a post with projects there is no problem for you, just for others people who have to be careful when they post their codes.

Yeah, it could be a problem, but if someone post his code and then others copy it, we know the first post would be the real one

I get it. Well then it will be a new post for every project, and those are posted here and people choice from the list
