Your dad doesn't hate you, if he does he'd have dumped you on the street when you were born. He probably just haven't understood the benefits of learning programming, if you can prove his thoughts were wrong (without being frontal) he will eventually soften down. If he dislikes you coding because your other lessons are dropping behind you should fix that too. Show him coding doesn't make you lose your achievement. Don't forget your parents fight everyday just for their children, if they hated you they will simply ignore you.

First at all, make sure you're really learning programming on PC. If you not, of course your parents don't like you wasting time on PC games or FBing.

as a parent myself I 100% agree, a bit of down time here or there is understandable and recommended (everyone needs hobbies etc) but screen time would be much more welcomed if that time was used to explore and learn new things.
