I don't know PHP.You can check the course here on Sololearn.I also advice you to learn languages with simple practice and not going directly for making your dream website or something.I'm pretty sure your site isn't even responsive.

I think the image must be stored somewhere in the server. That is after the user has uploaded the image. In this case you need both server sided language like php and javascript.
