Well, there are a tremendous number of projects you can do using c++. But I encourage you to learn the basics of the C++. Then smooth your way towards advanced and real world problems. BTW, Try to buy a GOOD book on C++ as your reference. Search through the QA section and you'll find a lot of resources.
