Am I doing this wrong?
So I just started solo learn a week or so ago. I'm now lvl6. I have no previous coding experience. So far I have completed c++, Java, HTML, and as of yesterday in halfway threw Python. Im not very good at the challenges. I guess I have a two part question. First am I doing this wrong? Is it worth the obsessive amount of time I'm investing or am I just playing a game?

I live and work remote from small town in mountains. What might help you is get your hands on a compiler like gcc or download java while you are online. Or if you can swing it download visual studio. This will allow the ability to work locally (offline). You don't have to rely on the code playground. When I first started programming there was no online so finding a compiler or interpreter was one of the first goals beyond finding a book (or ebook).

knowledge is power, knowledge without implementation is knowledge lost, be sure to write tons of code to reinforce what you learn here and to move beyond.

I notice that I defiantly retain more after writing a code. What sucks is I live remote off grid and most times I can't access the code playground. Wish I could right off line and post when I have service.
