How does coding defer from programming???

I see people say I'm a coder and a programmer. this sounds like there's a difference between coding and programming or being a coder and a programmer. Need your opinion maybe there's something am missing.🙅🙅🙅🙅🙅🙏🙏🙏🙏

coding means you write code. programming can be seen as something way more simple. for example : you can program your phone so the alarm goes of at 6:30 am. When we are talking about the difference between a coder and a programmer, I think 'programmer' is the name of the job and a coder is still a hobbyist. But that is what I think at least haha 😅

i don't think there's any differences between the two because at the end whether you are coding or programming, you are providing some environment like a PC, robot, or browser, a set of instructions on what tasks it needs to perform.

I am not aware of any formal difference however @Lord Teacrumble seems right.
