What can a programmer do if it's the end of the world?

I just had the urge to ask of how can a programmer help in idk a world war or like if someone gets attacked so how can he/she use programming to defend themselves? Its a silly question but I consider it important

Programmers can write a code that corrupt the navigation system of missiles so that they always land on water for example. This example was rather an utopia, but in real time of war, programmers are those that help getting informations and preserving this information (for example the Turing machine helped a lot during the second world war) Programmers are those who do GPS systems, communication systems and so on now that everything is numerical

What do you mean end of the world? An apocalypse caused by zombies like in walking dead. If that's the case probably nothing much since the internet will be down and there won't be power to run the machines.
