Question

Sololearn has helped me a lot. I was able to make my first basic website using HTML. I used to hate all these computer languages when I was in 12th. But I am liking it a lot now, thanks to their easy way of teaching.

I learn a lot from the comment section. Thanks to all those people too, who comment helpful suggestions related to the topic in the comment section.

Recently got a silver badge, looking forward for the gold badge. Thanks to those people too who played challenges with me.

it taught me the basics, but aside from that, i don't know how to make a functional program except hello world, I'm clueless

Don't worry dude. Every programmer is at that stage one or at the other time. Keep learning from solo learn about functions. There are some very good sites such as: UDEMY, UDACITY they offer free and paid courses got through them also. Thanks for replying 😁. Like the page also..

I think you know JAVA, (from profile). Develop the same for C++ and you will succeed.
