Object question in java instance var vs instance of class.

Question

when you declare an instance variable of type does this technically create object variables?

so if i create a instance of class and initialize with a instance variable and give it a value am i creating a instance of class object?

sorry if it sounds confusing i juat want to know how a instance of class treats a instance variable and if there both objects of class.
